Welcome to my personal portfolio. I am Mar Gomez, a graphic designer and photographer with roots in Mexico City and currently residing in Seville, Spain. My journey in graphic design and photography began at the age of 15, and I have since collaborated with various businesses and brands on diverse projects. This portfolio highlights my graphic design work, personal projects, and photography, showcasing my expertise and dedication to the craft.
Education
2023-2024
University of Washington
I am currently a undergraduate student in sociology at the University of Washington, where I began my journey in 2023 through a rowing scholarship. I have had the privilege of being part of the Global Pack group, which focuses on supporting international students in the athletics department, as well as contributing to the photography group for various athletic events. In addition, I am excited to expand my experience by joining the American Marketing Association in the fall quarter of 2024.
2020-2023
University Seville
I studied advertising and public relations in the University of Seville, with a strong focus on graphic design and art direction. During my academic journey, I honed vital skills in project leadership and became proficient in tools such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator. A highlight my experience was being the lead designer for the official poster of the "Advertising Through Time" exhibition at the University of Seville's library.
